Itinerary

Day 1: Drive to Terelj National Park and Genghis Khan Statue

We'll visit Terelj National Park, (about 2 hours/170 km) stopping at the world's largest Genghis Khan statue, then see Turtle Rock and Ariyabal Meditation Temple.

Day 2: Drive to White Stupa

Explore the stunning 200m high White Stupa in Dundgovi, (about 7 hours/ 350 km) a limestone escarpment with colorful cliffs. Sunset climb offers breathtaking views.

Day 3: Hiking to Yol Canyon

Yol Canyon (about 6 hours/450km) known as the bearded vultures canyon with rocky cliffs, located at 2500m high. Visit the small museum, hike for an hour to discover rare wildlife, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Day 5: Khavtsgait valley, Nomadic family homestay

Enjoy nomadic hospitality with Amaraa's family(3 hours/ 200km) Activities include visiting Buyan Lama's meditation monastery, exploring ancient petroglyphs. Helping with daily chores, making Mongolian food, and learning traditional songs.

Day 7: Drive to Karakorum

We'll visit Karakorum (about 9hours/450km)the ancient capital of Great Mongolian Empire, and explore its historical sites: Karakorum Museum, Erdenezuu Monastery, Kings' Monument, and Phallic Rock.

Day 4: Khongor sand dune

The Khongor Sand Dunes, (about 4 hours/350km) often referred to as the "Singing Sands," are one of Mongolia's most stunning natural attractions. Located in the Gobi Desert, these expansive dunes stretch approximately 100 kilometers (about 62 miles) and rise to heights of up to 300 meters (around 980 feet).

Day 6: Nomadic family homestay

Experience the heart of Mongolian culture by staying with a nomadic family and helping with their daily life! Immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscapes of the steppe as you participate in traditional activities like milking goats. Day 9: Ulaanbaatar city tour

We will drive back to Ulaanbaatar city (about 3 hours/150km) and drop you off at your hotel.

Day 8: Khustai National Park

We will enjoy watching the endangered Przewalski's horse (about 4 hours/300km) the park is home to this iconic species, which roams freely alongside other animals like deers and various bird species. We will be welcomed by another nomadic family Ganaa to enjoy the hospitable enjoy with his family.
